As the new academic year begins, we were delighted to welcome our newly admitted Year 2 students on 24 August 2026. During the welcome session, our Department Head, Prof. Jianping Gan, shared an inspiring message with the students, encouraging them as they embark on their journey in this field. This was followed by a presentation from Prof. Stanley Lau, the Undergraduate (UG) Coordinator of the program, who introduced important academic information and highlighted key points that students should keep in mind throughout their studies in the OST program.
To help our new students gain a better understanding of student life, we also invited current senior undergraduate students to share their experiences in the OST program and reflect on their academic journeys. The welcome event concluded with a refreshment and networking session, providing an excellent opportunity for the new students to interact with senior students and office staff, ask questions about the program, and build new connections.
