OCES 2100 students embarked on an enlightening field trip to Pak Tam Chung River, Sai Kung, on 18th November 2022. Led by Dr. Cindy Lam, the trip focused on the observation and understanding of freshwater turtles in their natural habitat. Dr. Lam elucidated on the conservation efforts and challenges faced by these fascinating creatures. The trip included a hands-on session to understand the turtle's behavior and the ecosystem they inhabit. The students left with a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance of nature and the importance of conservation, marking the field trip as both educational and valuable.
