To help students explore and prepare for the future career, OCES Department and the Career Center have organized two career development workshops to assist students in better self-understanding, improving job search and industry update.
A Mock interview session is completed on 19 Feb 2024. Under the guidance of experienced instructor, students have the chance to practice the communication and critical thinking skills. Constructive feedback is provided by the instructor to help students refine their interviewing skills and develop strategies to handle challenging or unexpected interview situations.
Besides, a workshop about CV and cover letter is designed for students on 23 Feb 2024. In today's job market, a professional CV and cover letter is crucial for securing interview opportunities. Throughout the workshop, students learnt the key elements of creating an standout CV and cover letter, and received personalized comments from experienced career coach. We have received positive responses from students, saying that the workshops are highly beneficial and relevant to their career development needs.
