In a move to foster a stronger sense of community among postgraduate (PG) students, the Department has organized an BBQ gathering exclusively for PG students on 22 June, 2024 at the HKUST BBQ site.
By creating opportunities for social interaction and community-building, the department aim to enhance the overall PG student experience and promote a sense of belonging within our campus. Prof. Jianping GAN, Prof. Hongbin LIU, Prof. Qinglu ZENG, Prof. Jiying LI, Prof. Longjun WU and Prof. Qiong ZHANG have joined the event. Students were able to interact with their professors in a more informal and relaxed setting, which strengthened the bonds between the PG student community and the faculty, paving the way for collaborations and mentorship opportunities in the future.
