Abstract:
This seminar will discuss the applications of marine microalgae, including marine diatoms (Phaeodactylum tricornutum), cyanobacteria (Spirulina sp.), and Nannochloropsis sp.. A clear technological roadmap has been outlined to facilitate commercial implementation. Innovative cultivation strategies and emerging application areas will be presented, along with an overview of the current application landscape and future directions.
Biography:
Dr CUI completed his Ph.D. in Aquaculture at the University of Queensland, Australia. He has led and participated in 9 research projects. He was selected as an “Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent of Jiangsu Province” and has published more than 30 papers and 8 patents. He serves as a guest editor for Foods (SCI Q1) and as a reviewer for multiple journals. Additionally, his innovative algal oil research and industrialization project received First Prize in the "2024 China-Weifang International Talent Entrepreneurship Competition."
