Abstract:

Dr. Lisa Tian obtained her PhD degree from the University of Hong Kong in the area of food and environmental toxicology. After graduation, she joined a British consulting company Delphic HSE and worked as a toxicologist to conduct products’ toxicological risk assessment for 6 years. She obtained her professional qualifications as a Diplomate of American Board of Toxicology, UK & European Registered Toxicologist (UKRT and ERT), Diplomate of Chinese Society of Toxicology and Chartered Biologists in UK. She is also keenly involved in scientific societies and industrial associations. She had got promoted to the office manager in the Hong Kong office and worked as a senior toxicologist since 2019. In this talk, she will share her experience of applying academic knowledge in the cosmetic and chemical industry.
